World Chocolate Wonderland in Beijing

Recently in my archive I found photos taken at the Chocolate park in Beijing and I thought that maybe someone will be interested in seeing exhibits made of chocolate and candies. $10,000,000 and 80 tons of chocolate were spent to build this park. Visitors of this chocolate museum had an opportunity to see 12 meters of the Chinese Great Wall, 500 chocolate soldiers, which became the prototypes of the clay army which were found in the tomb of Qin Shihuang, the BMW car was made in a life-size, as well as furniture, clothes and shoes.

Нашла в своем архиве фотографии, сделанные весной прошлого года в шоколадном парке, в Пекине, и подумала может кому-нибудь да и будет интересно. На построение парка была затрачено 10 000 000 Дол. США и 80 тонн шоколада.

Fashion against AIDS

Today new H&M Collection “Fashion against AIDS” became available in around 300 H&M Divided departments. This year’s collection brings together ethnic influences from different continents. 25% of all sales will go directly to a variety of international youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects.

Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of Design, H&M about this collection: “I love this year’s Fashion Against AIDS collection. It brings together so many global styles that send not only a powerful fashion message, but also help spread the word about HIV/AIDS awareness. It’s great that the collection includes the work of artists and illustrators from many different countries, helping us to raise funds for these vital youth HIV/AIDS charities.”

Happy Birthday, Yulya!!!

Happy Birthday, Yulek! I wish you, i.e. you guys (as your half is already with you) love and happiness, a house filled with children’s laughter and mutual understanding. I also hope that you can make it to Tashkent, that way we could see each other.. That would be great!! So.. anyway, Happy Birthday, my sister (I prefer sister instead of cousin)!! Today’s thoughts

Today I understood how important it is to be happy and thankful for everything you have. I know that it can sound like a cliché, but I really think that this is how each of us should live. What happened today reminded me about this. Why do I say “reminded”?! Because I knew this, I always knew that you should be thankful, joyful and appreciative, but often times I forgot about it… when days don’t differ from each other, when every day is just another routine, with all these grey boring days, almost depressing thoughts about something wrong, or something not the way I want it to be are coming in to my head. Not everything in life happens the way we want it, but I believe that everything that’s happening is for the best (another true cliché), and maybe that’s not always understandable for us, but this is how it is. So, what happened today?
